Why join TYTO?
For years now I have watched the biodiversity in our country suffer, a trend of continuous decline of our natural environment. I try to keep an eye out for new efforts that buck this trend and get involved where I can. This particular proposal is a very well thought out effort, by excellent scientists as well as friends. And I'm proud to be a part of it.

It is now a global imperative that economic development be pursued within a framework of understanding the availability of our natural resources. Taking theory into practice, sustainability indices (Sustainability Indexes / ESGs: Environmental – Social – Governance) are already integrated in international stock markets, while Greece has already done so since August 2021. As a professional in the sector, I am particularly happy to be part of a such a close scientific team that proposes substantial and implementable solutions for the benefit of the country's vital agricultural sector. The economy also has its own green values.

Why join TYTO?
I am proud to collaborate with seven other scientists in TYTO offering sustainable solutions/options for the Greek countryside, the farmer and Greek agricultural products. In order for agriculture to have a sustainable future, it is now absolutely clear that it must be developed with respect for the natural environment, the flora and fauna that make it up. Furthermore, if agricultural practices become more biodiversity-friendly, the agricultural product will also become more consumer-friendly as its quality is upgraded and thus the health of all of us is protected. The road is long but the choice is there. And that's why we work tirelessly.

Why join TYTO?
Coming from a farming family and being a farmer myself, there was always a side of me that wanted to be active in the natural environment. Through the occupation with Agriculture came the realization that the unreasonable exploitation of the natural environment by man for the purpose of temporary profit is a tactic that the modern professional farmer is mistakenly introduced to, not knowing that in reality the opposite is to his benefit: the harmonious coexistence with nature. And as a Landscape Architect, however, I believe in the protection, but I also have the ability to identify the perspectives and opportunities for improvement, of the natural environment, including the rural one. It's all a matter of choices and if we as THIS can help by making available those choices that protect the natural environment then I want to be a part of that valuable solution.
