The “Association for Management and Conservation of Biodiversity in Agricultural Ecosystems” - "TYTO" has established an important international collaboration beyond the borders of Europe, with the NGO "Global Owl Project" based in Virginia in the United States and the Director of the organization David Johnson.
The Global Owl Project focuses on the development of inventory techniques worldwide for owl species, the acquisition of recordings of owl species and the analysis of communication patterns, their molecular systematization and phylogeny, the analysis of morphological and taxonomic traits, the evaluation of the positioning of the owl species, the history of their evolution and human impact.
"TYTO" collaborates with the Global Owl Project in important research areas.
